That's a very salty interview.

Robins was usually very fair in post-match interviews. Think there's a fair bit of bitterness in there.
That’s what surprised me. I can’t remember one salty from him when managing us.

How many clubs did we play that fucked him over?

I love Robins and will be forever grateful for what he did for the club, but we did not fuck him over. Our current position proves it was the right decision. He was happy to leave us for Huddersfield remember.

He was sacked without ceremony or thanks after seven years and not even that poor a start where our underlying numbers said we were a PO side. Whatever. But Kimg then went on a Love Island style slagging tour on radio claiming he had lost the plot and trying to sully his history to curry favour with the fans. It was a classless move and I’m not surprised Robins isn’t his BFF.

And I’m a fan of Lampard. But given what he did for us I just think any criticism of Robins is not justified.
He can have been wrong to give a clearly salty interview and still be a sky blue hero, the two things aren't mutually exclusive.

If your best mate behaves like a penis, you don't stop being his mate, you just tell him he's being a penis and to sort it out.

Ultimately, I'm not surprised Mark is bitter. He's lost two us twice now.

Must have been horrid watching us celebrate with Frank like that.

It helps set Frank apart from Mark. He shows the passion and is one of us celebrating. It used to disappoint me when Mark would clap and walk off so quickly even after massive wins.
In fairness to him it's just not his personality, that's not a problem.

People won't agree, but for me that was the best performance of the season.
Nullified a decent side, and won a cagey game with a moment of proper quality.
I always think back to a few times when Man United seemed to come to Highfield Rd and win narrowly without battering us. Their treble winning team for example.

I've said it in a few posts, but we were never going to keep up the momentum of the first 13 games.
It's games like yesterday that show if we're genuine autos material.

I may be wrong but I don't think Mark Robins shook Frank's hand at the end of the game....also saw Frank tell someone to fuck off as has he walked off the pitch (after clapping our fans).
Mark Robins was great for us but I never lose sight of the fact he applied for the Stoke City job while still our manager.
They did shake hands, you could see it on ifollow

Let’s just see if Frank can get us one kick away from the Prem before we run down MR shall we?
I did give MR props for his achievements and still hold him in very high esteem. What he did under very difficult circumstances cannot be overlooked. But with that said, I’m hoping FL can go one better than being one kick away from the Prem.

Honestly if i was a Stoke fan sat next to the dickhead filming and talking about absolute scenes I would struggle to contain myself

Yeah, we managed the game brilliantly in injury time, kept them at arm's length

They've really not taken this one well gave they.

Apparently they're unhappy that we had the audacity to celebrate a rather good late on match winning goal quite loudly.

At least there won't be shortage of salt for the roads in and around Stoke this winter...

What’s that??
The lip readers amongst us could probably tell. Tbf its because of what happened when he was at Man City. He alluded to it in his interview too

I was thinking Mourinhos Chelsea due to the Frank link. Big games like that was 1-0 Chelsea written all over it.

I’ve been reading for the last year that people should get over Robins. Which is totally right, and some people took way too long to do so.

But for quite a lot of people, some the same, it’s as if they’ve totally forgotten we actually won a hard fought game yesterday - they’re weirdly too wrapped up in his interview. Self awareness.
