Yeah, you can tell he puts the work in. Has insights on the opposition, talks with confidence and gives his own opinion based on facts and research. Doesn't patronise callers by blindly agreeing with or waving through their opinion without challenging it.
To be fair, if Haji had have been flagged offside we would have conceded a good chance. Worked out alright though.

I like Gurney and Oggy. And I also liked Clive and Oggy.

Always maintained Oggy and Clive did their homework before going on air. They knew everything about the opposition. On the rare occasions I listen to opposing presenters, they usually know bugger all about us or talk absolute crap.

I do feel sorry because Lorna is getting slated every week. Ultimately she's a fan like all of us but her style is a world apart from the serious personality showed by Clive.
Do think Clive is still a big miss, but I've warmed to Rob this season. Think it's because he's still a familiar voice and we've not really had many reasons to be negative so far.

It's rare that I listen on the radio but every time I have this year, it was better with Clive. Even when he was getting names wrong, he was far better than what we have now. Far more level headed (but still passionate) without going overboard, gushing and attempting to jinx games/this season at every opportunity.
Rob sounds like that awkward guy at the pub who over compensates but doesn't really know. With Clive, you could never be sure about which player he was actually talking about but thought he was unbiased and that's what you want when listening to a game on the radio.

It really wouldn’t be hard to take this over if we all agreed to call in afterwards. But none of us want to so we have to listen to the lemons who do. We could have basically SBT Live after every game if we got our shit together.
I do try most games and never get asked on. I assume my number has been marked down as a prankster from my first attempt.
I think it was Linnell who desperately would say it would be nice to hear from callers WHO HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN AT THE GAME.
Boosh messages used to often get read out on air. Assume it's the same Boosh from this forum as there was always a hint of a wind up in them and I think Clive could sense it
