But they never touched the ball?
I mean why didn't they look at the Spurs goal not long ago for instance there's definitely pushing from their player?
Because they were interfering with play by both holding the keeper while being offside.

As much as I think Sunderland fans are weird gimps, I think its good for football, I hope all 3 promoted teams stay up honestly and think there's a more than good chance at least 2 do.
It's also great what it happening in our league with the parachute teams being proper shite.
Can't stand them, but fair enough to them - They have gone for it and brought well, IF we do it this season I hope we follow their path - as much as the team who return us to the Top Flight after such a long absence would go down as heroes the majority of them would not be up to the grade - Sunderland realised that and were not sentimental about it, the way to go really as harsh as it sounds

Looks like Wolves are down already, fought back from 2-0 down but still lost at home to Burnley. Writing’s on the wall!
Wolves have been circling the drain for a few years now, they are about due a relegation - Looks to me like the Chinese owners have completely lost interest and are halfway into the process of pulling the plug

Scenes after the match yesterday were pretty damning, all the hallmarks of a squad of footballers who will be relegated

They have done very well. They still start with maybe 4 or the players that went up i think? I think some of ours compare pretty well to those, MvE, Wright, Rudoni isn't a downgrade on Hume, Isidor and Le Fee imo. I guess we'll see when we get there but they seem to be the ones we'd want to try and emulate.

Bloke I work with is a ST holder and he has said that they have gradually stripped all of the proven quality from the squad each year, you just can't get away with it. The writing is firmly on the wall for them.

It's a shame imo as if we go up it'd be good to play Wolves in the top flight.

Yes Ait-Nouri and Cunha this year, Neto and Nunes in years gone by - Bound to catch up with you eventually

Agreed, cannot say I have much of an issue with Wolves - Probably the fellow W. Mids side that I dislike the least

Such pessimism ! Surely you fancy having a real go for a Champions League place? 😊

I like seeing you do well. It gives me hope that we can emulate you next season 👍

17th is a huge success, especially given the gap between the championship and the premier league. Our model has worked well so far… we didn’t spend much at all in the championship which allowed us to buy a whole new team for the premier league. Most other clubs like Leicester and Shef Utd etc have went down the road of buying their way our of the Championship, which has left them with the championships best players in the premier league, which sadly does not work.

not sure that’s the way it goes. you get a stack load of cash from getting promoted

But if you spent big in championship you are stuck with those high earner players in the prem as shef utd and others have found. We basically got a total new squad.
We also are nowhere near breaking the financial rules like Leeds United have had to be careful of in the window which hampered their spending.

League cup I know, but are Chelsea going for some sort of record for number of players sent off in a season? They seem to have one every game at the minute.

What is Slot doing? Lost 5 of their last 6 and he plays a joke team in the cup and doesn't even have anyone on the bench? Just throwing away a chance at silverware?

If we go up it could be us and Villa as the only 2 Midlands teams.
