Those things scare the shit out of me.

I went on one in Pittsburgh 2 years ago, and it looked like it was falling apart. My colleagues, who were local, were laughing and taking the piss. Then, half way up it started sliding backwards and the safety cable cut in and we stopped abruptly. It felt like we were about to slide at full speed to our deaths.

I'll walk next time.

My daughter and grandkids were using the one in San Sebastian just a day before,all went as anticipated.

Has anyone ever been Goynuk/Kemer area of Turkey? Going out there next weekend, and fancy doing a bit of snorkeling and a boat trip maybe

Can anybody recommend a tour company to do the day trip from Nashville to Memphis? (Or even a private transfer).

The only ones I can find that seem available are on the Saturday which is the day before we fly back and don’t really fancy doing a massive long day and then having to be out of our AirBnB by 10am!

Heading to Rio next Monday, land on the 4th and will need to find a sports bar showing us against Sheffield Utd, gutted to be missing the enemy, I’m sure the Brazilians will be fans of the Championship.
Grabbing a Fluminense game at the Maracana stadium the night after hopefully although they get less than us.
Then off to Iguazu falls and then Peru and Machu Picchu.

Trip of a lifetime, land back an hour or so before the West Brom game…….hopefully still unbeaten

To follow up... The end of my lads new years resolution to visit the seaside every month this year is in sight.

Jan - Blackpool
Feb - Bude
March - Hunstanton (Day Trip)
April - Barry Island
May - Bournemouth & Poole
June - North Wales
July - Weston (Day Trip)
August - Week in Cornwall
September - Skegness
October - Woolacombe.


We now have the last two booked too. Taking advantage of a teach training day on Monday to head down to Brighton on Sunday after his footy game and spend the night there, then ending where we started with a night in Blackpool to see the illuminations (we missed them in Jan).

Considering we've had two deaths in the family this year, and the wife is studying for her Masters, I'll be pretty proud that we've managed to make it happen

Some unrest there I believe, Govt been harsh by modern standards, they turned tik tok off about 3-6 month's ago, been on the streets don't know about now though.
