Was too romanticised with Robins at the time to really be happy about it, but as time went on it was pretty obvious that the poor bloke had really just started to struggle and in all honesty probably needed a break.

The way we are going at the moment is amazing and I am really excited for the rest of this season. I am feeling cautiously optimistic that it is our time to return.

I thought it an uninspired appointment.

Happy to own the wrongness of that to date. Long may it continue!
You weren't alone Shannerz, there were plenty on here that had judged him on his time at Derby, Chelsea, Everton and back at Chelsea before he'd parked his car up at Ryton.
There's a steely look of determination on FL's face like when he was slaughtered by West Ham 'fans' as a kid, the same look of I'll Fucking Show You.

Big decision by King, not only sacking Robins but going against several of staff to bring in Lampard.

Got it spot on
Biggest thing for me to hold my hands up on is disagreeing with him that all the players needed was better coaching to improve their performance. I assumed from what I'd seen that the players themselves were not up to it either mentally or footballing wise.

I was wrong, he was right.

lol I had forgotten that period when many were saying we needed a complete squad clearout... and 90% of them were the same players here now.

I doubted his appointment and it didn't sit well how Robins was removed .
Happily admit I was wrong and back Super Frank and the boys to the hilt

A lot of us were wrong including myself wanting a few league one managers 🤣.

Massive benefit of the doubt for King on his future decisions

Yes so 64 league goals, 2 playoff goals, 4 cup goals (8 if you included the penalties in the shootout v Sheff Wed), 5 pre-season goals.

Where are the other 28 goals coming from?
they've cocked it right up :ROFLMAO: 2.4 goals a game did seem a bit high
