We all do. But we have a few quid in the bank ready for the January window. We have loan options and by then it will be clear which players will be available that might not have been before the season started. It was a great offer for Sheaf, who in reality was cover for Grimes who is as consistent as any player you could find.

I am happy we didn't waste money on squad fillers. We have players like Bidwell and Eccles to come in when needed. They are better than what some would like you to believe and already know how we play.

Out of interest, if the crowd has 'fuck all to do with the action' should a result stand if, say 60 mins had been played? 45, 30?

My gut feel is that after 75 minutes the result should stand, but only in instances where the abandonment is due to conditions. If it were protests, etc then you either replay or it’s forfeited.

Before this he'd owned Almeria in Spain for 6 years, sold it on earlier this year. Took them a few years post takeover to get promoted to La Liga, then they went back down soon after. Spent a fair bit in that time, but not humongous amounts.

Goodish news in that Wrexham have to play Cardiff in their EFL Cup home tie in the same week that we play them on the Friday evening. Given the Welsh rivalry, hopefully that may give us a slight edge, if they've kicked lumps out of each other!
