I'd be a little bit concerned if we splashed out 10m on Hughes -
That is a LOT of money for us. The pressure on him would be huge.
I've yet to see (albeit on limited viewings) anything that tells me we'd do well doing this deal.
I could be really wrong - but it's weird to say, it is just not what we've been used to.
If Wollfenden is a cheaper option - I'd be much more comfortable with this.

Happy with Woolfy, said plenty of times looks like a good player.
I'm also happy to see us linked with one of the best young talents in the division. We're not used to it but it's a good sign imo.

Just my gut feeling …. We have been openly bidding for Hughes whilst still giving Woolfenden enough positive encouragement for him to push McKenna to leave …. If he’s burning his bridges at Ipsw it’s because he thinks Cov want him whether they sign Hughes or not ….
