I think the fact we seem willing to break our transfer record twice in a couple of seasons , aswell as purchasing the stadium shows that the owner Doug King is as ambitious for premier league football as youd have ever hoped your owner would be .. its all very positive, even if we fail to sign hughes you can see the ambition is there

Its difficult to say. If we had a young player considered one of the best young talents in the division then we'd want it. We're just not used to being the ones paying it.
For me the only thing bothering me is Woolfenden is clearly option number 2 but we could go all in on Hughes and end up with neither.

Based on the Hull Forum our latest bid was £10M with the view that we will go back in with a £12M bid.

He's an exciting target because he's the sort you could take up to the Prem with you and potentially not have to immediately punt him out the team. The more of those you have, the better.

Really don't think doubling our transfer record on a CB is worth it

We'd have to get promoted to justify it.
