Honestly reading here is like Tales of the unexpected meets Jackanory. Half of you would be locked away if Thatcher hadn't of closed the mental hospitals, and the worst thing is people believe the tripe that is printed, even journalists, if that's what you call them from CET to blogs to youtube transfer latest they are so desperate for a story or a lead they will print anything that is put on here.
People don't know what is happening with Rudoni or Milan, they can guess, and maybe the guess has some logic so is slightly believeable, but it's a guess. I used to go to Ryton many moons ago and talked to people who work or hang out there but even they may see a famous face and put two and two together and get 5.
King, thus far, has surprised us with his shrewd dealings and has people on contracts to allow us to be in control of our own destiny and not be dependent on others. He is also an ambitious business person who wants to get us to the premiership, he is not SISU or any previous rabble, he has a plan. He does not sell players to rivals. He does not sell at the drop of a hat. He knows the value of Rudoni and if we have more potential of achieving promotion with him we won't sell. If Newcastle came calling for him he may go but this is now becoming a saga rather than a transfer rumour. Last window they were after him and at the beginning of last season they were also meant to be interested in Norman, but what happened to that?

I get why its a talking point and i've given my thoughts, but there really is no point in discussing too much further unless it starts to advance is there? The small paragraph that journalist put out is the kind of nothing type piece that gets pumped out about hundreds of players all summer long.

Had more fun in that cup run than any season since the PL.
DK didn't set a 5 year "have fun" target though did he? His aim when taking over was to reach the play offs, not to have fun in the FA Cup.
Whilst I agree, it was incredible, the season itself was massively underwhelming and dissapointing. Which answers the question, did selling Hamer kill our season..... the answer in unequivocally yes, it did.

Depends on how reliable the Southampton ITKs are.

No it means it did for you. For me personally Wolves away and United at Wembley were highlights in my 45 years plus of supporting City. Truly memorable occasions with my sons. Priceless.

The best moment of my CCFC supporting life in that run, not to be sniffed at. But it sure did derail the league season before we ditched the wingbacks and adapted.
But football isn’t just about getting to the premier league is it. Don’t get me wrong we all want to but we also know we are likely to lose most weeks and come back down. So therefore you have to enjoy the cup runs too when they come because football is about creating shared memories with friends and family not just about promotion to the premier league for a season.

Spot on. People are so desperate to get the PL that they forget what football is about.

Those two days, even with the loss against United, were the best in 25 years for me.

We've been in the play offs twice since DK has arrived?

You talk to any supporter and the young ones want to go tp the premier, they've never experienced it before and who can blame them, the older ones who have been to 87 final and had years of memories in the Div 1 will be more weary and hope to be a top six champ club.
However, the owner want us there more than anyone, it's where the money is and if he wanted to sell the club the premier is the golden chalaise. DK is not a charity and he will work closely with us fans but he is not stupid every decision is planned and discussed with his team. He only want s the premier and if we haven't done so in the next few years he may move on.
