I like BTA, but he's never a starter. Hs energy is useful off the bench, winning or losing, but at he's 26 and was a regular starter for WBA before coming here.. Strange that Robins brought him in, as we were set on 4-3-3 that summer. He's neither a 9 or a winger, although can do a job in either position. We need a similar player with that energy, but 19-20 who's eager to play, and happy to influence games from the bench. Bassette is clearly not going to be that player.
If I'm wrong, and BTA is happy with his role, then don't sell.

Bassette like Asante has shown he is not a natural finisher. Bassette's early promise was about being a willing runner and providing nuisance value. At the moment BTA is delivering both of those things better than Bassette.
