There were over 55,000 cases last year. I'd like to see a similar level of outrage about all of them, regardless of the offender's ethnicity.

Guess the difference is not many of them ran to the media to claim racist police brutality victims with a dodgy lawyer before the truth was leaked.

The reason it got more attnetion is because the footage went viral first.

A clipped down bit of footage was released where they were victims and then the photos with their lawyer about them and their mum being victims. Add in the proper victim photos.

It was only a few days later the full story came out when somebody leaked the CCTV footage.

They got the victim approach out first into the media, hence this has got media attention and why many of the other cases of police being attacked don't get mentioned.
