Apparently Norwich also interested in Dolan. With Sainz gone it would make sense and he would be getting plenty of minutes

He is really well thought of, I'm surprised they are open to letting him leave, especially after they released Ajayi. Met him a couple of times, seems a nice lad, really tall.

I remember a couple of seasons ago we were close on Charlie Cresswell, thought I’d look at what he’s been doing since that.

He joined Toulouse for £3.8m last summer and apparently had a good season and now linked with Napoli and Toulouse value him at £18m

However now looks like he is joining Como for somewhere between £12.8m - £14.5m, Sunderland were also linked

Not badddd. Missed out clearly

Was also an important player in the U21’s Euro win.

Was really close too and then he turned us down at the final hurdle. Shame. Could have been some player for us and definitely one we would have turned a profit on.
Was only like less than £2m

The summer so far has been really disappointing. The squad is all over the place:

- 2 horrifying keepers and 1 with a long term injury
- 2 high value right backs wasting funds
- 3 poor left backs with no solid first choice
- 4 centre halves that have contributed to below par defences across 2 seasons
- no right wing back up
- 3 strikers that are seemingly out of favour with the manager
- no back up 10

We really need to see some movement soon or we are going to see the same problems we have over the last 2 seasons.

Got a feeling we’ve got a deal or two ready to just drop because we know what Doug’s like with announcements no value in them, Sakamoto signed about a week before he was announced and was pictured in training gear on the bus
