Saw Sinners yesterday too. I thought it was alright…not amazing. It’s basically as you say.Watched Sinners at the cinema. Enjoyed it even if it gets a bit weird in places. The young lad who plays Preacher Boy is incredibly talented and it’s a unique take on vampires. Reminded me of Dusk Til Dawn in a good way .
Want to watch Thinderbolts as I’ve heard it’s an actual half decent Marvel movie for once. Off to see Holy Grail at the cinema tonight looking forward to it.

The first trailer of Sinners didn't give any clues about what it was actually about.
Annoyingly I saw the second trailer and so I already knew the premise.
Thought it was really good anyway, I like that they followed the traditional "rules" of having to be invited in, etc
I’ve long considered this. A bloke in work does it and says it’s really good.Anyway, watched Holy Grail at the Odeon last night, man that was a crowd. Let’s just say all the comic book shops were empty in Nuneaton from 4pm yesterday. Fun experience though, watching a movie everyone in the cinema knows and enjoys, the build up when you know a reference is coming, etc.
Has triggered me and the missus to get Odeon Unlimited £20/mo and you can watch anything apart from the live theatre/concert stuff they do and the unseen screen previews. Going to start just catching a movie when I’m bored, might do Thunderbolts today. Considering it’s the price of about two tickets and there’s a ton of movies coming up we want to watch seemed a no brainer.

Yep I bought it this month and its just great value. Been so many times.Odeon limitless is an absolute steal.
Take your own snacks and drinks, and it's practically free if you enjoy cinema.
Edit: Screen/Scream Unseen are included in the limitless price.
A few of us go and see Die Hard together every Christmas and it’s got to the point where the staff are asking us to quieten down because we’re getting too into certain bits.Fun experience though, watching a movie everyone in the cinema knows and enjoys, the build up when you know a reference is coming, etc.
Did watch Thunderbolts last night. It’s OK. Decent middle of the road fare that Marvel used to put out like Ant-Man or Dr Strange. Couple of tie ins but nothing too crazy. Florence Pugh carries it but it’s a fun low stakes superhero movie.
I think the film got shelved for years before it was released. The Sound of Freedom.
Got recommended this one by a mate.
Based on a true story, Jim Caviezel plays an American law enforcement officer, who is involved in investigating and bringing to justice paedophiles in the USA.
During an investigation, he finds a massive paedophile operation, that is shipping kidnapped Hispanic children from the USA to a wealthy paedophile ring in South America.
His bosses attempt to shut him down, as it`s outside the USA, but with the help of wealthy reformed criminals, he sets up his own operation to smash the paedophile ring and rescue the kids.
Due to the truly subject matter, the film doesn`t do justice to what really happened, as they`ve tried to keep the viewing palatable for those watching and as result it feels like " there`s something missing " from the film.
I fully understand why they did this though, as there`s no way they could ever portray the reality of what went on.
I`d say, it`s a worthy attempt to try and portray the most abhorrent of subjects.

Seen the first episode - started well in my opinion.I see the final season of The Handmaid's Tale is out, so I will be getting right into that
Just a shame it has gone from fiction to a documentary now though.
I've seen some bad fillums...
..But, fuck me! Havoc (Netflix) is truly awful.
What were they thinking!
The Surfer.
Good but trippy film
Full on cage mentalism. Think you will enjoy it JimGoing to see this at the weekend, is it full on Cage !
Only person in the cinema too. Was a good couple hours.I was eyeing that up for this weeks movie. Good to hear.

Yes, it was a terrible film but in The Wicker Man his overacting is the only thing that made it completely memorable.I`m a massive fan of his acting talents.
No one does overacting like the Cage monster.
Although his Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas which richly deserved too.
