No way we're there 5000 empty seats .In fact given the capacity of the stadium it's nearer 6000 if the given crowd was correct.
That's the equivalent of the entire south stand empty. Nonsense.
Block F closed = 250
Blocks D&C closed = 110
Block 4 segregation = 191
Block 5 segregation = 268
Block 6 segregation = 626
Block 12 segregation = 447
Block 13 segregation = 382
Balcony at least 1K empty
Boxes 75% empty
Family stand blocks still had lots of seats

Thats about 4K already.

I'd say double in the balcony?

Really good atmosphere as well. Didn’t really like the mocking chants (no need against non league but they did sing ‘championship having a laugh’) but mainly good banter between the two sets

Simms song a lot better and nice for Dasilva getting his song when he came on

Showed again when there’s good away support it brings out the best in ours

The banter is what makes the atmosphere. They were happy to hand it out.

I get that 2 of those blocks are segregation but what’s with the random empty block in the middle of the stand?
Was it anything to do with that block being closest to where they had the TV pundit table before the game and at half time? Perhaps it affects their focus if people are coming and going in their eyeline, or saying anything to them. Seems a bit unnecessary if so.

If there are things like that, why not have a ready made cover with the badge or PUSB or something on to cover the seats, or get a sponsor to pay for something as a bonus advertising opportunity. Or maybe a club could give a bit of exposure for a local charity like Zoe's Place.

Its because there was another event on at the CBS which was booked before the cup tie was announced. When this happens they have to limit the hospitality numbers for the match. It happened i think against Birmingham too which had been moved to the Friday night.
