Not accurate?
Why? If you couldn't afford to travel on the Saturday you wouldn't of been able to watch it legally on iFollow.

That is the same now the game is on the Friday night.

Think we get battered here, squad is paper thin, been riding our luck for weeks.

4-0 Preston
As a Preston fan that travels away to 75 per cent of games and attends all home games i can assure you its very very rare that we have four proper opportunities to score 4 goals..... you be unlucky for you to be the one that we score four goals against!:) far more likely is that we concede that many,,,,

Probably because there are two teams involved and it’s not all about us. I’m sure the EFL didn’t even consider it, but if they had, why would Preston agree to a midweek game rather playing it at the weekend? That would mean them having a 4 day gap followed by a 10 day gap (rather than 6 and 8). And they also know we will have one eye on Monday which might be to their advantage. It’s a no-brainer to play on Friday from their point of view.
As a Preston fan that booked train tickets for Saturday like many of us did it wouldn't make a lot of difference to us whether we played tonight or tomorrow as the game change means we can not attend and that Preston will have a low low following. Whether that helps as less pressure i am not sure but its a shame that we can not watch on ifollow.

Pay on the gate into the South Stand is great news.

The question is, will they still have the stupid fence?

Pre-match interview looks like Wilson is playing. Clean sheet in the last game (even if he didn't face much work) being rewarded I suppose. Bound to send a few on here into meltdown though!

Yes and if we win tomorrow he’s probably guaranteed a start at Albion which is the opposition where his deficiencies were exposed earlier in the season.

I think WIlson is a decent keeper and I don't think there's much between him and Collins. They're both decent for this level. I don't mind him having a turn at all. I didn't manage to watch the last game and it sounds like he didn't have a lot to do but you can't drop him for not having much to do. I think the shirt should be his until he makes a few mistakes.

With it being pay on the gate, I reckon it will be at least half full. Preston aren't bringing many at all. 700 is being banded about.
The club appear only to bringing one coach from Preston and one from leyland which are setting off before the schools finish so difficult and with trains not getting you back until early morning it not great...

My grand son very upset having booked train tickets..

I know we probably expected it, but it sounds like Torp will be out with a calf tear (although Robins hasn't confirmed it I don't think)
who has told you it is a tear? You don't usually play on for 15 minutes if you have a calf tear?

The Lack of information on Torp is concerning and just hope he hasn’t suffered something more serious

Do people not have cars in Preston? We took 4K to Sheff Wed on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago.

I can only talk for myself and make a general comment and that is i do not have a car due to issues in my eyes and much of the away support nowadays appears to be between the ages of 15 and 20 so perhaps they do not have cars.

Although 4k at sheff wed is a good following...

Fair point and to be honest normally Preston bring good numbers, even mid-week so surprised its only 700.
FYI still more than Blackburn brought lol.

Rovers i am afraid look to be going down the swanny.... Which is odd really as they have over the last ten years had so much more investment in their squad that what we have had but yet so far have achieved not a lot. but they were in prem for a long time and they have own it...

Yes if the game had been Saturday i would have expected to sell out that's the issue us away fans missing out on a good trip thats not so far that you get back after match of the day

That's to do with the owner's I think, something to do with Indian Govt restrictions on currency leaving the country or something like that.
