We're much too passive in midfield, need to be on them quicker.

Reminds me of a giants vs minnows FA Cup 3rd round tie so far. Bournemouth quite comfortable knocking the ball around patiently waiting for it to click and we're scurrying around, doing twice the running trying to pressure them, but unable to string 3 passes together before we give them the ball back. Rinse-repeat.

All we do every time is try and clip it over the top hoping Godden will beat 3 of their defenders.

Did I just hear Bournemouth fans singing 'wanky, wanky, wanky. wanky Coventry' (how old are they? how old is that song ?)

I always find the box formation ineffective if you don't have the majority of possession.

If you can't win the ball your two DMs end up on the toes of the CBs, stretching the formation too much. If we do win the ball back, there's no out ball - Allen and O'Hare are having to cover a huge amount of ground against whoever is left from their 5 man midfield with Godden alone against their back 3 without the qualities to trouble them.

The box needs the AMs getting up with and running beyond Godden. You can't do that when your first pass in possession is a 35 metre pass from the edge of your own box.

If they score this will be game over. Will be a proper backs to the wall job to get a point and have to be an incredibly incisive break for us to get a goal.

Fucking hell Dabo, he changed his mind about trying to header it then turned his back and their player was through.

It's one of those where if they get 1 they could notch 3 or 4 but the longer we hold we'll start to believe we can get something, especially if we can make it to around the hour at 0-0.
