Without Googling it, since eating is taking most of my brain power and motor functionality, I’m quite sure we played Espanyol at Highfield Rd and drew 1-1 in pre season 1998. A certain Mr Jarni was in the crowd, incidentally...

Who was the other reserve regular around they time, Dobson was his surname but can’t remember his first name. I was only about 7 or 8 years old so my memory is sketchy but always remembered Livingstone for some reason!

Tony Dobson. If it’s when Dobson and Livingstone were regulars then the Reserve team would have been something like:

Keily
Booty
Dobson
Greenman
Rodger
Middleton (either)
Clark H
McGuire
Thompson K
Livingstone
Houchen.

from memory.

Hoping for a strong team and some good performances. There's a bit of gloom about at the moment when there really doesn't need to be. A goal would be nice

Friendlies don't usually float my boat, but really looking forward to today.

In just over an hour I'll be setting off to a game on foot, making that short walk for the first time in 826 days.

Also think we'll put that pre-season angst to bed today.

After my earlier speech about not being motivated for this one obviously we’ve decided to go. Purchased tickets an hour ago but still nothing via email. Looks like a trip to the new ticket office!

This guy is an itk so I guess Hamer is out...

Midfield of Shipley, sheaf Allen and howley terrifies me if we were playing leam u17s let alone starting the championship next week
