Baka doing well. Allen and O'Hare getting into dangerous positions but end product has been poor.

If nothing much changes then Godden on for Allen at about 60 mins I'd say

They're game plan is to spoil & bombard us with long balls. Standing up to their physical threat so far but they're nullifying us pretty well.

Jarvis for me I don’t see Godden doing much against their defence but being bullied max would be my forward option over Godden all day

Decent enough first half, just hasn't quite clicked and the game is there for the taking. O'Hare and Allen's touch not quite good enough that half and we've been a bit 'flicky' whereas the pitch looks like a 'have a decent touch and move it on quick' pitch. Also think we've been a bit slow bringing it out from the back and it's forced us long too often. McCallum's performance withdrawn again, barely got in their half.

Weneed to revert back to playing out the back. This long ball from Morosi is losing possession all the time. Get our slick quick passing going on. Not sure about Allens influence at the moment.
Pitch is effecting us as well as their hard press physical approach they should tire 60 min onwards

Only change I’d make at the moment is two up for either O’Hare or Allen, probably O’Hare.

Yeah, it's the Maddison effect. Pretty disappointing. When you know you're moving on from any job your level of motivation plateaus at best in my experience, might be just me. Mccallum isn't fighting for promotion now though as he's already got it. Although suppose you could say that for Walsh and O'Hare yet they're fully committed.

Like if you’ve been binned off at work but only you know the processes you’ll be leaving behind. Are you handing them over? Are you bollocks.

Not really like that to be fair but wanted to say it.

Portsmouth haven’t looked threatening, they seem a long ball/direct team and hoping for a set piece goal.

We haven’t clicked completely get, but there’s been glimpses and when we have we’ve looked good. If we have a few more spells of possession I full expect a goal.

Baka has been our standout so far.

Rose, Kelly and McCallums distribution has been poor, and O’Hare’s hasn’t been much better. Allen has a touch of class, but isn’t involved enough and Walsh hasn’t dominated yet.

I’d like to go two up front at 60 to really test their defence as I don’t think it looks great at all. I’d bring Biamou for O’Hare/Allen (depending who looks tired).

The game is definitely ours for the taking.
