35 minutes down the A13 for me so I'll be going! Make a pleasant change from the many hours of hell travelling up and down the M11/M25/M1/M6/A38 car parks.

Oh and did I mention the frequent junction closures after 10pm along those sodding routes.

No problem that one selling out I think. Lots of games though in a short space of time so a pick and choose for some including me.

Have they stopped the train from Liverpool Street because The Train Line only shows trains from Fenchurch Street into Southend Central now and that’s much further than the station near the stadium?
Closest station is Prittlewell. Short walk from there. Many trains per day stop there before going on to Southend Victoria.

What's the traffic on the journey likely to be for this? Looks like a chunk of the way is on the M25 which isn't good normally is it?
It’s a long way had friends who lived not far away in South Benfleet can be a ball ache but not too bad Saturdays but it is the M25. Says two and a half hours from Cov but I would leave atleast four hours before.

Anyone recommend best parking places at Southend?

Plenty of side streets free parking usually just set the sat nav for the ground postcode and when I’m about 1 mile away start looking for parking. Saying that’s are usually happy to walk 15/20 mins away from ground.

There’s a school just up the road on the A127 that allows parking if all else fails. Very short walk to ground. Last time I did Southend was when Mark Venus was manager and our own fans were fighting each other and we lost 3-1, great day.

It’s really easy by train. Cov to Euston, few beers then getting train to Southend which takes 40 mins. Booked last week for £38 return.
