Marosi 8 - not a lot to do but his distribution is class

3 CB - 8 Never looked in trouble and all 3 knocked it about nicely

Watson -7 solid for his first start in a while

Westbrook - 7 clever player who drags people about and out of position, will never be one throwing himself into challenges

Kelly - 8 really good game , makes us tick

O’Hare - 7.5 would of been a 7 but the flick round the corner for Bakayoko at the end is a touch of class above this league

McCallum - 5 should of had a penalty and defensively fine , his crossing was utterly dreadful, everyone straight to the keeper. I do think though he is going to be one hell of a player, like a left sided Cyrus Christie ( he ain’t done to bad for himself )

Bakayoko - 1 gets his point for getting into three glorious goal scoring positions to win the game , the rest of it he was fucking useless, a professional footballer who trains every week puts one of them away atleast , fuck off back to Wallsall you useless donkey!!!!

Biamou - 4 loses 2 points for his sending off, didn’t do anything particularly bad or good during the game, but he’s been out for so long I’ll let him off for that , atleast not afraid to put himself about unlike his useless strike partner

subs - Both 6.5 as tried to make a difference and made some good decisions but they didn’t always get executed properly.

Time for some perspective:

-We've lost just two games this season.

-In nearly all games we've played decent football and it's been great to watch.

-We're 6th in the League and given our domination of most games I expect us to move higher as we convert draws into wins.

-None of the teams in the play-off places won today; Peterboro for example managed to lose to Bolton. All teams in this division are likely to have good and bad runs.

Let's not target individuals after results don't go our way (it's not helpful) - keep the faith in Robins to evolve the team as the season progresses - and we will have very bright days ahead.

We may have only lost two but we have drawn eight which I believe is the most in England. Ipswich have lost the same amount, are 4 points above us and have two games in hand. Also Fleetwood are above us and have lost 5 games and also have a game in hand

Bore off a team 4th from bottom has scored as many goals as us.

None of the top 6 teams would swap out forwards for theirs. Yes we are competitive in all other areas but hopelessly lacking in quality forwards

So you don't rate Godden or Jodi Jones in terms of quality?

Do you think Max's return to fitness has been anything less than impressive?

We've sure had some bad luck with injuries to our forwards of but rather than acknowledge this you just want to put the boot into certain players with your constant f....g negativity. If anyone should bore off......

Hiwula scores both of those today and I’ve criticised Hiwula heavily this season

Godden has missed easier chances than those presented today as has Hiwula.

In fact Baka has scored much more difficult chances than Godden this season.

Where is your criticism of Godden in this context?

It seems you wish for events to fit into your own personal bias and then stick the knife in.

As I've said Robins will evolve the team, we've been very unlucky with injuries to our forwards and I believe we will progress upwards from here.

Fair. I just believe that on balance we've been unlucky not to convert a number of those draws into wins - and I'm positive we will start to do so. We have a foundation to build on this season.

I want Baka to do well but I’ve pretty much given all hope he struggles with the basics,Godden missed sitters against Tranmere Baka has been here over a year
& doesn’t seem to have move forward since then.Bar Tranmere I don’t recall Godden missing chances like them mate ? Tranmere he missed 1 which came on his weaker foot he put it over another he hit the post with & 2 awkward headers just wide...I think the issue is we can all see Godden is levels ahead of Baka in terms of a forward player where as Baka looks like a con artist with a good agent who’s never been coached,I’ve watched him a few times at under 23 level he performs the same,I’m certain he won’t be here past this season but maybe jan if we get lucky and manage to get someone interested in signing him,he wasn’t robins signing I don’t feel. The Guy is 6’4 and gets bullied week in week out same as under 23 level gets man handled he’s basically a 6’4 daffodil.

I thought Westbrook was dreadful today myself
Really? Some moments of class. The heek to McCallum for what should've been a pen pkus a few one twos between them, the ball into the area for O'Hare, the flicks inside one to Kelly, one to Baka, better set piece delivery, won his interceptions and was positive. Tbh I'd not have taken him off.

I agree with the sentiments here.

As someone said on the match thread, I think we didn't try to attack/press at the start of the game - just gradual build-up, recycling and no real penetration by midfield runs / passes.
Throw ins were slow to be taken, allowing Accrington to get into position and stifle any attacks.
Playing 5 at the back (or 3 with wing backs) against a team who quite clearly were aiming to hold out for a draw and disrupt a flowing game, I think called for a change - whether one centre back should have moved forward (or sub off for a midfielder), and certainly the central midfield was too deep in first half.
Played ok, disappointed not to take three points, especially when I think we could have forced the issue more.
Onto the next game. Pusb

Well let's agree cc84cov that we all want Baka to do well and move onto the next game. I also agree that Godden is first choice and that his all round game has been impressive - I'm really looking forward to seeing Godden and Biamou paired together as God has been fighting a lonely battle up front on his own.

Different players will be required this season and Baka has shown with us he can make an impact off the bench (and as a starter although as you and others say not consistently enough). His instinctive finishing is interestingly very good - as someone has said before he struggles more when he has more time to think about things. Onto the next game lads.

Rob can I ask a question...what is a “heek’ ?

Agree with your point started very well then faded, keeping Liam Kelly fit is key to where we end up this season in that midfield Allen.

Completely agree, couldn’t believe he was taken off: our best two players today were subbed. Big fan of O’Hare but he was poor today

Look at the crowd figures that may be a clue for us to have enough money to get better quality we need better crowds. Even Fester had better crowds than us and better solicitors but they do have their own ground :(

We have had chances to win most of the games and sometimes been lucky that other teams strikers are as bad as ours at times but ours atm are consistently costing us games by not even hitting the target, as I have said before, the only thing that is usually in danger when our players have a 'shot' are the pigeons in the upper tiers

Godden is decent for this league but nothing spectacular - a bit like our team overall.

Tend to agree. The odd back heel is not enough of a contribution

You think that’s all he contributes?! Bloody hell, do you only watch the ball when you watch a match? His running is incredible. He’s never more than a few meters away from the play, that’s more important than a fancy back heel but if that is all you notice then he can’t be responsible for your lack of football awareness.
