Tyler Walker deal done??? (1 Viewer)

The amount of fans on here who have no idea how these deals, negotiations and transfers work is astounding! Walker has probably agreed to join, subject to Forest bringing in a striker first. Deals and agreements are in place and set up all the time and then cancelled due to certain circumstances.

Get off Panda's back! I for one am happy to hear of the possibilities and have a realistic viewpoint on how these negotiations and agreements work out. More often than not we can be after players and are close to signing them but that can all change in a heartbeat.

Hold the phone: are you saying that some deals come off and some break down???? Well who knew!!!

Surely would have happened by now with Forest getting a new forward in. If terms were agreed previously, it would have been medical and signature today. Wonder what the hold up is?

Wanted to take a picture of him with the shirt outside but it’s too rainy

Yep, and I know I keep banging on about it but we haven't as far as I'm concerned improved the squad, we've probably made it no worse but I don't really see it as being any better.
We might not have improved the overall quality but we have replaced key loan players with permanent signings and thus far kept hold of prospects like Bayliss. I don't think that's bad going given our predicament

Yeah, fans should be much more clued up on how these deals work, what with live streams from the boardroom and the transparency of agents.

Not one to post stuff about signings but I’ve been told that Lincoln are signing Walker, could be Thursday. This is coming from the Lincoln end not Cov.

See what happens.

Tbf if people spent less time spouting bollox and believing everything they read on Facebook, and spent that time just reading about football from a news outlet, rather than Jim from down the pub they would be a lot more clued up on the workings.

Got to secure another striker of some sorts ... Bright or Taylor ... but none in and Chaplin out ... just doesn't cut it ...

A news outlet like the Cov telegraph? Or...actually they all seem to spout bollocks. Which news outlet do you suggest would be a reputable source of CCFC transfer dealings?

Just spotted a grey Audi with the number plate TJ10 WAL on the Stonebridge Highway

It’s happening!
You should have followed the Audi all the way to Ryton and then you would have known for sure.

Sorry did I say ccfc transfer dealings? CVD, quoted someone talking about the workings of transfers. If anyone needed a basic understanding of transfer dealings then sky sports would be a good place to start.

What’s with the meltdown. Robins has said he hasn’t finished his transfer business. Strikers are the last players to move in the window.

Here we go then, selling players to balance the books and being outbid by Lincoln... if he goes them over us then it’s a fucking joke

Other than a minority of hopeful Lincoln fans, is there anything actually pointing towards Tyler going to them?

Naturally, your everyday fan will just pick a name who they're hoping for or were once linked with (they wanted him last season), because that's the only scrap of evidence they have. Really, they have no idea who Cowley is going for. We do this every season with ex players.

If this happens you have to question how can Lincoln beat us to his signature, can’t see it.

The big ‘I am’, why would he go to <insert team name> over us? What makes us any more attractive?
