i was in the Jaguar lounge tonight, at about 7pm I am sure I saw Ray Ranson at the entrance, he then turned and walked out again.
I may be totally wrong, but did anyone else see him tonight ?

He was in the casino after the game with Hoffman and Joe Elliot.

Had a brief chat with him, during his time as chairman said he only met Seppala once, Lots of internal politics led to his resignation and is appalled as to how things have gone.

Interestingly Hoffman mentioned that another bid is being prepared.

We laugh about it but if it’s obvious to us then sisu will have seen it a mile off and have plans in place. They might be shit at running a football club but they’re hard nosed business people that I’m sure won’t be run out of town by antics like this.

Exactly, they will know full well. It has been obvious for months now.

Let's hope it doesn't back fire.

Nobody said that at the time when him and SISU genuinely saved us.

They were the only ones offering at the time and few were complaining at the budgets afforded to Coleman. He pissed them up a wall and the funds were switched off

It was contrived that way because it suited the co-op bank for it to be contrived that way.

For some reason, people who should have known better (i.e. the chairman at the time, the future chairman and vice-chairman) went along with it.

As an aside, let's hope that means any future 'saviours' are scrutinised to check they actually are what they claim to be. Fool me once...

Maybe they have been saving up their fake money on Nicks forum betting so they can increase their bid

They put themselves, and were put into the position of only bidder. This was because the co-op bank actually got their cash back (or a sizeable portion of it, at least) if this were so. The threat of administration was used to run down the clock and create a sense of panic that it had to be SISU or oblivion. This was not true.

I get the second part but not the first.

Who needs fake money when one of the consortium members has won a billion dollars in Vegas and has got loads of photoshopped bank statements and fake emails to prove it?

He made sure he got a payoff though. Wouldn’t want him anywhere near us.

Were they all invited by Dale Evans, to show them that he really does mean business?

Spent a drunken half hour on a train with ranson a couple of years back

He said that Sisu pulled the plug the day of the Leeds game and yes sepalla was impossible to work with

He had a great relationship with acl. But because of sepalla had to keep going back on his word

What he couldn’t answer properly was why he got into bed with them in the first place

There's a shock!
Genuine question Nick, I don’t follow all the politics and stuff. But is this not a good thing if a bid is indeed coming in? Will it not put pressure on them to accept with the ground and EFL situation as it is. Be harder surely to face the EFL and say we have no ground but refusing to accept a bid anyway
