We've had a few nuts and nutters playing for us, but my favourite was Gordon Nutt. As a left winger, he only managed a goal every seven games in four years with us, but went on to score a goal in every five games with Arsenal and a goal in every six with PSV Eindhoven. Not bad scoring rate for a winger. He died in 2014. In 1954, Gordon Nutt was replaced on our left wing by a certain Colin Collindridge, who is still alive and kicking at 98. He may have slowed down a little. but surely worth a punt?

Robins has blown the budget although he said he was saving some for jan window he must take responsibility for these signings we should not be looking for a striker having took 3-4 in the summer

I'm sure he was watched. He looked good for Pompey the couple of times I'd seen him play before on TV. He's a young lad and it's the first time he's been playing for a team outside his hometown. It takes time to adjust sometimes. He needs time but it's not his fault we spent a huge part of our budget on him.

Its Chaplins first full season of playing every game he is still very young player with a reasonably high transfer fee on his shoulders, he's missing easy chances he could do with a big strike partner to take some of the pressure off him, he is playing very deep and lacking confidence just cannot understand whats wrong with him with only a few things against him

I think he'd be a good replacement for Julian Gray as I heard Fulham are interested and he could be gone before the end of the window.

Let’s see what the next 2 days bring as I stated before lower league young players was my guess which won’t be much better than what we already have

How many lower league young players do we usually loan? I can only think of Jodi Jones which was loan to buy.

What's wrong with that? If it's an LM they will be better than Shipley or Hiwula playing there.

Just says monitoring which means the tea lady has been watching sky sports.
If Hibs have made an offer that was turned down we have no chance and why would he come back here with other teams interested who can offer him better money.

Time to move on and find someone else
