Looks like Grimmer and Davies (no idea if anyone else joined them) went to a club afterwards. Presumably Robins was fine with it.

Always puzzled me as to why Oggy takes the strikers group for shooting practice.

Very odd.

He's literally just throwing balls up in the air for them. It wouldn't make any difference whether it was Oggy, a recognised striker coach or a ball boy taking the practice.

So he just throws up the balls and doesn't speak to them?

Surely a strikers coach would coach and give critical assessment to the players in the warm-up and besides, his touch isn't great (that of a keeper obviously) and often his lay off is poor to the strikers feet.

To be fair Oggys goals to games ratio is as good as some of the strikers we’ve had over the years!

True.

It's not having a go at Oggy though. Just wondering why he's doing it and he doesn't just throw balls up in the air, he lays the ball off to players with his feet and does one twos.

The amount of shots we screw wide in the warm up is quite embarrassing.

At least they bury the chances when it matters.....

The lay offs aren't meant to be perfect, sometimes he'll give them an awkward bounce or play it to close to them etc etc. It's to get them moving and reacting and thinking, not just giving them the perfect lay off every time

I know that of course, but a.fair few balls go completely wayward so the movement fails and they have to do it all over again.

A strikers coach would clearly have a better touch than a goalkeeper, obviously.

Be careful ...we’ll have the Oggy police along minute to arrest you.

He’s been part of a losing culture at this club for an eternity and should of gone years ago. But we’re not aloud to speak of such things.

Bottom line is the shooting is dreadful, both in games and during the warm-up.

Something needs to change .

Have pointed that out for months. They all do it on their strong foot only as well when it sits perfectly rather then whichever foot and however it lands!

Also heard drink driving rumours... but no idea how true!
Agent Harriot started that. He's since withdrawn and apologised. Whatever you think of Doyle as a player, as a family man that was completely out of order. Unfortunately some will have read and thought there could be some truth in it as you have.

You would have thought somebody would have mentioned it by now as there are a fair few people around the club. It would have also been in court as well surely?

If it was that bellend pretending to be an agent it clearly isn't true!

haha didn't realise it was him that started it, i heard it from someone and didn't know where it started tbh.

I don't believe it to be true, as Nick said, we would probably have heard more formally by now if true
