Great result and a nice goodby present for tm.
We need to push on from here but lets not forget the problems with our owners are still there.
We still need action to get rid

Haven't read the thread
What happened to Reece
anyone there comment on what the distribution from the GK was like
IE did it change
Maybe Burge is one of the players TM was referring to,possibly along with Lameiras and Haynes.

We were really good today .
I think they played like they were told to just go at them , nothing to lose , no manager to leave etc if we didn't win .
Much improved and TBH quite impressive performance from a group of players you didn't think had it in them

8 points off the play offs ;)

Doesn't sound like much. But what would it really take for us to get to the play-off spots. I reckon SIX consecutive wins.
The teams on 17 points are getting on average roughly 1.5 points per game, so while we are getting our 3 points per game , they are getting 1.5.
So assuming we only win five consecutive games, we'd be on 9+(5x3) points (=24) while they would be on 17+(5x1.5) = 24.5, still ahead of us.
So assuming the top teams continue at their present pace, we need six consecutive wins to overtake them. And that is assuming none of the teams on 16 and 15 points go on a sudden surge.
It will be a long hard road to get back up there.

Called it...said it would be a hard game but wouldn't be surprised if we won.

With a bit of confidence we can start picking up win. Our goals against is good. Have a look at Gillingham and where they are.

Not sure on dates etc but our down turn in results wasn't down to Venus taking a back seat and leaving TM in charge on his own a bit more? Not putting that down to just today's result but just a thought?
I don't think so, Venus was never in the dugout before when we were doing well. When he joined his role from the beginning was technical director and not on the training ground or in the dugout on match day.

Both goals pretty basic, what struck me was how high bigi and McCann were up the pitch for our goals. We haven't seen that much this season from our midfielders
I've said it for ages and last season, our midfielders must try to get beyond the strikers.

Bigi looks far more athletic this season, nice footwork from him for the goal. Always said there was a player in there.
