So if you were searching for strikers from fairly shite leagues you'd be looking at the ones greatly outperforming their xG then wouldn't you rather than necessarily ones that have a lot of goals but about average xG conversion because their team creates a lot.

Yeh from what I can tell, different sites don't all calculate it the same way?

Genuine question, I've never found an answer to this. Is xG calculated per the league you are in, meaning you are using data for teams at your exact level and comparing to that or is it calculated far more widely than that and if so what is the scope? Prem to National League, Iceland Premier...

We're the best side in the league and he gets minutes in every game. He'd get similar minutes for literally every top half team and would likely start for the majority of the bottom half. On no planet does he end up in league one, I doubt he'll play a minute in his career at that level.

Yeh absolutely mate, Serie A defences were ridiculous back then. Only the very best strikers thrived in that league at the time. Surprisingly good content from Rio Ferdinand isnt it.

I don't think you even read the post I responded to and took it as a response to you, which it wasn't. All I'll say to you on this is there is absolutely no chance Esse goes on loan to League One.
