They trolled us last season. This season is the real quiz.

No of course but he can hunt down another 2 or 3 players in important positions with the attributes he wants I'm sure. Particularly that CF.

We look like we're about to piss the league if I'm being totally honest.

Nope, although I haven't got a fucking clue whats going on with the internet in the UK since I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks. Shit show of a country but I'm guessing it's still ok.

Or you get to the transfer window and the new manager tweaks the squad with players that fit the way he wants to play better.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I doubt Man City would do an option for us. Obligation upon promotion perhaps.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Yeh that's what I said haha Imo you either sell or do a loan with obligation if that's not possible or you commit to saying we believe in this players ability to develop and just do a straight loan. Loan with an option is the worst option available from our point of view with no benefit.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Yeh that's what I mean as I believe an option is just that, an option. I'd rather it be an obligation so it's just a done piece of business that's confirmed even if he flops.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Don't understand a loan with an option to buy. If he's shit they won't take it and we're stuck with an asset of lower value than what we got it for, if he does really well they potentially get him on the cheap. Don't see how that option benefits us.

I'll bet it's on fawanews. That's where I'll be looking for it anyway.

Good player and a player often mentioned on championship podcasts and such as a reason we're expected to do well. Think we can expect more from him next season too.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

To throw in a positive, isn't it nice that our middling/squad players hold some decent value. I know we've had a couple of players worth a lot before but generally the bulk of the squad for many years was worth the grand sum of fuck all.

Y Yes LB is a funny one. Hopefully Brau is the answer if not it's going to be another season of that being the obvious weakness.

I don't mind Kitching, think he gets a hard time from a few on here and for the last couple of seasons we've always been better when he's in the team. But the answer to your question is still yes, Doyle is better.

Lampard definitely doing a bit of recycling in the next couple of weeks. No way he ever wanted to go again with the same squad.

If you do a deal for Doyle that's around £6 million with £4 million in add ons if promoted then it's worth it. We won't be spunking any more than that up front.

Penny pinching by Bling costing us a top target.

    Championship thread 25/26!

If my club was heavily linked with signing Broadhead and Keiffer Moore for a combined £11 million, I don't think I'd be too thrilled tbh.
