I've heard it happen before, the link below shows what happened in the Motherwell v Kilmarnock game earlier in the season.
I know it's Scottish FL and their rules may be different.

But they are saying he shouldn't have been sent off. That was a yellow all day, and it would have meant a 1 game ban for 2nd yellow.
They normally downgrade something like this to a yellow anyway
I don't think there's much chance of our game ending in a draw. Boro will throw everything at us, there is no scenario where a draw works for them. Hopefully that leaves them open.
I think the time to replace Collins was a few weeks ago, we may as well stick with him now. He was good against Luton until that rush of blood. I think we just have to hope things work out ok. If Wilson plays it may work out better or it may not, either way we will never know.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that popping up time and again on the net as one of the 100 worst goalkeeping gaffes. Kitchin must be fed up of being clattered from behind.
I know what you mean but looking at our 58 goals conceded,
With Dovin in goal 28 games 30 goals conceded 1.09 goals per game
With Collins in goal 15 games 23 goals conceded 1.62 goals per game
With Wilson in goal 3 games 5 goals conceded 1.67 goals per game
I know this is a bit simplistic but...
As far as we know we didn't get any fresh injuries today, and should have a couple returning next week. I'm wondering if we will appeal the sending off as it was never a red IMO, what contact there was appeared to be accidental.
I think you could be right. It does take some of the pressure off knowing we should be ok to draw. There's Bristol as well if they lose heavily on Monday. It isn't technically in our hands now but only Millwall could catch us if we win and they would need to beat Burnley by 5 plus whatever we...
All 3 contenders are away next week, only we are at home
Blakburn play Sheff U
Millwall play Burnley.
We shouldn't underestimate how important a home win is last game of the season even if there is nothing to play for.
Games don't have to be even to get a result. We would surely have got a draw until Collins flattened Kiching (who had things under control) and then left an open goal.
Yes, I really think we have a better chance with Wilson in goal. Obviously not seen him play for a while but I just think he won't be under anywhere near the pressure Collins will be under, and on his typical form he is good enough.
