A lesser man could have went into his shell when his club brings in a player on loan to replace him. So fair play to him. Probably helped by Esse deciding he'll play where he wants and won't track back and defend, but still. Good on him.

I mean if you're taking just one moment across a whole recent history then it's easy to pick holes in it. I don't mind saying it, if you pick the 'best' home atmosphere from each club in the Championship then I think Birmingham are top.

I know we're not supposed to say it but I think it's the best home atmosphere in the Championship when they're winning. However, when they're not winning it is arguably the worst.
