Well that was an entertaining night out. We made 7 changes from Saturday and brought a 15 year old on as substitute, so we got to see some of our youngsters and reserve team players.
Positives: we pinged it about quite a bit in the second half when you stood off us, we drew the second half...
I hope we play some of our kids but not a team full of them. Be good to get a win to avenge the play off final, but I'm not that bothered really, just hope it's a good game and we unearth another starlet like we did when we played you in the cup a few years back and Ollie Watkins made his debut...
Yep, I'll be there. Not sure what team we'll put out, but hopefully it'll be the kids, to rest the senior players and give the kids some game time, we've got a great bunch.
Yes, away end terrace now has a roof with about 1,000 capacity, plus we’d probably give you 400 seats too, so should be enough unless you’re top of the league (if we ever join you in the same league again) or it’s the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
Not a new ground for me, I’ve been to St. Andrews lots of times, but as we’ve not played the Blues since 1999 there will be a lot of youngsters who won’t have been.
We’ll probably bring more than most of you think we will, considering we’re a small club from fucking miles away. And when we sing “you’re supposed to be at home”, we mean it literally and are considering it as a song of support to a club going through shit at the moment. Honest, guv.
