Ronaldo Says He's Best Ever Player

I was lucky enough to see Diego Maradona play it his best for Napoli and he would have taken some beating but the best player I have ever seen was a guy called Cha Bum-kun he was a South Korean who played in Germany in the 1980s he could do pretty much anything play as a winger-lone...

    Bernardo Silva Goal

As a Manchester City fan it would be easy for me to say...... it shouldn't have been ruled out... Don't get me wrong, I think the linesman made a mistake because, in my view Sane was on-side, but here's what I don't get are we expecting the linesman to adjudge if the player is interfering with...

    Oldham now...us next?

With Manchester City's deal it's really complex I guess the best way to put it is that the council get paid rent on a ring-fenced band between 33500(or so)and 47500 (the club paid for and built the extension that added 7500 additional seats) but the monies have to be spent to cover sporting...

Paul Lambert named as Stoke City manager

Hughes doesn't do any coaching its pretty much all delegated to Eddie Niedzwiecki, but I better stay off talking about Mark Hughes for my blood pressure!

I know rules are rules, but....

That really sucked you can't see in the clip but the WI team doesn't even seem to be appealing for it(although they must have for it to even be called).

The six most depressing clubs to support.

Sorry I should have been clear I was referring to teams not on the video link, your fall has been as bad, although atleast you aren't part-time and in their case they didn't even "sell" their ground it was lost in an ownership struggle!!!...

Paul Lambert named as Stoke City manager

That was one of those moves where after a takeover he wouldn't have been considered for the job, so he took a punt and the takeover never happened. Also I wonder as a prospective manager how much access does the club give you to the real state of affairs?? As a Manchester City supporter we...

The six most depressing clubs to support.

I would have to give an honorable mention to Stockport County they have fallen from the Championship to mid-table Conference North, they now play part-time, rent the ground that they had previously owned for 100 odd years and now have to think of FC United and Salford City as their main rivals

The six most depressing clubs to support.

Watched that earlier today as a neutral my money has to be on Blackpool it must be just dire. Ironically as a Manchester City supporter we had a close call in the 80s Owen Oyston was fishing around buying our club.

    The official NFL Thread

The first problem any warm weather team (like Jacksonville) has going to Foxborough is it is in the middle of nowhere and can be ridiculously cold (their win rates are in the 30% area) luckily the weather looks like it will be pretty nice there over the weekend, something the Pats will hope...

Paul Lambert named as Stoke City manager

It's funny how you have a perception of something I always thought his spells at Wolves and Blackburn were train-wreaks, but he actually did OK pretty much won as many as he lost at both clubs

Paul Lambert named as Stoke City manager

I'm still trying to get my head around this one..... I'm sure when the news that Hughes had been fired after playing you guys the other week.... Paul Lambert wasn't on anyone's lips as a replacement!
