Please tell me you aren't suggesting Wright should have been vacant defending in this instance?
That would hade required him being deeper than our entire midfield!
His positioning was awful on both occasions, the first time was a warning that he didn't take any notice of.
I don't focus on just the negatives. I've praised him the last two games but he was poor last night.
Was,shocking for the goal last night
They'd worked it down that flank a minute earlier in exactly the same way and he didn't heed the, warning.
Adi likes him though so I doubt he's going anywhere so let's hope he's right about having lots of improvement in him.
These bad runs have been a feature since Robins return, (as have going on incredibly good runs), but don't think we've finished the season on one up until now so it has put a bit of a dampener on things. .
However, it will have no bearing on next season in the same way last seasons finish...
Good bit of analysis but 3 of those games came at the end of the season in the form of play offs. And last season didnt include 2 games against Premiership opposition one which required a late come back and a semi final that went to ET and penalties.
Think that has to be factored in.
I don't think we could have played Fadz in a 4 and if he had the chance for 1st team football and wanted to take it then I dont think you can stand in his way but we're clearly missing his leadership.
It's possible for some of the things you've mentioned to be correct and for fatigue to be a factor, it doesn't have to be one or the other.
But I will keep banging on about squad size, if we don't increase it we won't go anywhere.
If you want a bigger squad, which any sane person would, then talking about fatigue to the media is pretty much par for the course in the hope the chairman is paying attention.
Agree to a point, but I think the extra games have had a massive affect on our league form.
But the sakamoto injury and our defending in the last couple of months gave also played in to it admittedly
