Lampard needed to address the glaring weakness of MVE getting caught out of position forward. That's on him. Rudoni has muddied the waters in getting the ball out wide quickly to EMC and tats. Torp is a more straightforward option and a better choice when he's fit.

Just want us back to playing a high tempo, forward looking game. Get the ball quickly to EMC, Saka in space. Let them do their stuff. Actually they are better with Rudoni away from them else we just see short passes rather than taking a defender on and getting the ball in the box.
