    The Triumph of Coventry's Rise

Good bit of marketing that Doug is missing out on here. We are the main football club of Shakespeare's County after all. Surely there's a way of exploiting that to suck in a few American "soccer" fans?

    Robins to Hull!!!

As has been said before (I think by Boddy?), Robins is a very big family man. He doesn't crave the limelight, he enjoys being with his wife and kids. Robins himself has also said how easy his job has become as he has all his own staff in place who he trusts, and because of that his job is not a...

    Thorns signings

Agree. Dowie had us mid table with a mediocre team. Then Sisu sacked him, brought Coleman in, gave him money, and we nearly went down.

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

If the club were that desperate to have families in the south stand they would move the family zone there

Home fans in South Stand v Preston - Trial Confirmed

So from the sounds of it the reduced segregation means block 9 will also be partially open next year. I’m guessing this could be offered to home or away fans depending on demand

    Thorns signings

Christ, how depressing is this. I think this was the summer when we we're pinning all our hopes on the rapist? Marlon King, Gary Deegan, and Freddie Eastwood. Those three alone show just how much the general character of the squad has changed. Our players now seem like nice, decent people...

    Coventry City's patient progress

Very well written article, an enjoyable read. I hope that as an Ipswich fan you don't become the generic PL supporter who takes no interest in the lower leagues!

    24/25 is THE year

We finished 9 points off because we gave up once the play offs were out of reach. The league table doesn’t lie, but equally so it’s not always reflective of ability. How many points have we thrown away this season because of stupid defensive errors? Or how many sitters did our forwards miss at...

    24/25 is THE year

Oh ok then you're right. We’re going to be awful next year because we went on a bad run for a month which included a penalty kick away from the FA cup final. That obviously wipes out the other 7 months of the season

    24/25 is THE year

Whichever out of Leeds and Southampton that stays down will now have to start watching their spending as revenue will be dropping

    24/25 is THE year

We finished 21-22 season poorly and then went on to have our best season in decades

    24/25 is THE year

I’m not sure I understand the suggestion that next year will be a play off push at best. We had a play off push this year. Are people expecting us to get worse?

    Hamer deal details

The whole thing about instalments is not really relevant as any players we sign will also be paid for in instalments
