I posted this earlier in the today's match thread, but for those who missed it, the following was posted by Kieran Crowley on the CCFC Wall this afternoon -

"We've got a loan coming in who will play in the Under-21s. He's here for back-up purposes really.

Mowbray rates him and he hasn't made a bad signing yet.

After that, I think we'll have everyone in we need and I can't see any more signings after that."

Interesting this, who is it ? What position and why really only in reserve ? My money is on a defender

Seems a really unusual one to me this. It is basically a trial. Cant see why it is being done as a proper loan if the lad isnt going to play.

Because they want to seem play in U21 games, need to take him on loan to do that.

Not sure of all the loan rules and there are one or two based on age length of loans etc. I get the feeling this player may be more than just a loan if he impresses, just can't see a reason to have 18/19 year old here for a month and not used but in TM I trust
