what is it about crewe, we sound all over them. lets hope justice prevails

Possession wise yes but all the shots have been outside the area really.

They scored a good goal and should have scored before that from a free kick.

Maddison has had a lot of wayward shots and they've kept Armstrong fairly quiete.

Best cov display on seen since prem. Criminal we ain't leading

Burge didn't even attempt to save it. Yes I know it was amazing finish but still

No crossing threat too

Other than that absolutely brilliant

I believe that we will win!

The plan from Crewe seems to be play deep. 8 men behind the ball, keep us to long shots. If we keep playing like we have we will see it a lot. Need to be able to best it though.

Stand out players for me in the first half were Fleck and Maddison. Both excellent.

Lots of good performances out there, but those two need to be singled out for special praise.

Well they pack the midfield and try and prevent through balls to Armstrong.

The truth is we need an option of another forward. Often we are pressing behind the back 4 and only have one player attacking their box.

It's pretty to watch - like an Arsenal of league one and we will dominate a lot of possession but if they snuff out the through balls it's sometimes limiting.

I'd like to see him bring Armstrong out wide and make those diagonal runs in behind.

It's been a long time since I've seen a Cov team play like that. Movement, passing, control, skill. Lovely to watch.

Defence still gives the jitters though. Just need to keep our heads and we'll win this.

We may have had a high number of long shots, but they have had one and scored.

Probability suggests one of ours will eventually go in.

Shots from outside the area is also slightly misleading - it implies we have had a number of pot shots. With the exception of two from JOB, they have all come from good spells and/or well worked possession.

Honestly why are we singing "we're top of the league" during match 3 of a 46 game season?!

Well that equaliser shut them up.
