Will hopefully be getting the fixtures added in within the next couple of weeks.

Last season was a bit quiet, anybody up for it this season?

1st Prize is a CCFC shirt next season (or if they prefer a polo shirt or something if they have the shirt).

If you haven't played before, all you do is enter what you think the League 1 Results will be for that week and it is scored on the following:

Guess the exact result - 3 Points
Guess the correct winner and goal difference (if you say it will be 2-1 but it is 1-0) - 2 Points
Correct Winner - 1 Point

At the end of the season the points are worked out and the winner is there. You can see last years result here - http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/vbsoccer.php?do=ranking

Ideally we can get as many people involved as possible, free to play and just a bit of fun!

I'll do it. If it's kept stickied on here I might even remember to put my scores in occasionally.

Go on then, I've just read the optimism thread, so I'm fairly certain I'm going to win!

You will need to add them into the Prediction League with scores once the league has been added :)

It's much easier to do the H/A/D but , if that's how you want it , fair enough.

Not sure what you mean? That's how it's been for about 4 years :)

Not having a go but , maybe, it's time to change the format ? as you've stated, it wasn't busy last season. doing it quickly like mine worked well on another forum and was popular. having to spend time working out the correct scores, takes longer. ie people busy all week then remember to do their predictions at the last minute etc. just a thought.

It would take hours of development and me too input the scores etc if I had to put everybody's entries in it would take a while.

It would have been quicker to put scores in than do it the way you did it anyway...

Can't see the harm in putting two numbers for each game. Hardly much longer is it?

That's just a childish reply. it clearly is broke as no one does it .

I apologise for trying to suggest an improvement on a poor performing prediction league . once again ... do as you see fit .

No worries, the format Will stay the same as too many hours and pounds have gone in to change it and the format works well.

Thanks for the advice, but who is going to manually manage it? It is much easier to use an actual system that calculates rankings than people throwing their results into a thread.

Im looking forward to it and Bob's update on the popularity of this other prediction league in the other forum
where the winner gets a million pounds from Bob himself due to the popularity.....

I think he means a simple Home or Away or Draw format? Rather than predicting the scores.

I was bottom of the pile last season, mainly because I jacked it halfway through. I'll be in next season though.

I enjoy the Prediction League and the format is spot on I reckon. I can't see any reason to change it and look forward to doing it again this season.
