"He has a great personality and he'll never lose his drive or conviction. The lads might be playing on blustery day, might be 2-0 down and the one lad who's pumping his fists, sleeves rolled up, balling at everyone is Ivor Lawton.

Not sure that that this is the kind of "balling" he should be doing. Although maybe that's why he's been offered a contract :D

Not to be underestimated. I remember Pressley saying we were very quiet as a team. I could have forgiven Websters legs if he had been vocal, organised the defence and commanded the ten foot of space around him.

your team mates are the eyes in the back of your head, the ones that tell you not to lose faith and keep doing what you are good at, the ones that kick your ass when your standards are slipping. The ones that lead by example, the ones who don't give up and hide when they are having a bad day. The ones that take responsibility for themselves and are prepared to cover your ass at the same time.

Hearing that German Whip song on the radio may have been the official point I realised that I was no longer young. It was made better by people texting the Charlie Sloth show with 'cruising round Cheltenham in mans' Italian whip' which is clearly three teenagers in a Fiat Cinquecento.

Never seen the lad play to be honest or if he did at a home game i was at can't remember him but to be given this contract by a new manager who may not have seen a lot of him either speaks volumes for the kd to me. Good luck to him and i have a feeling he may become a big part of Mowbrays future teams.
