Totally agree the worry is they decide to employ that 3 plus that other clown that goes around the grounds (I have forgotten his name again)

I didn't think of that! I forgot about him, really annoying bald bloke with a goatee always trying to get hold of managers the second the whistle blows. Can't think of his name either, something weird. Len or something ha

Manish is terrible - monotone, always trips on his words and gets his facts wrong.

I worry that the pundits may be worse on channel 5 I remember watching a European game on there and commentary and hosts were poor so bad I stopped watching the football games on c5. At least with the BBC they had no ads going to have to either skip through or watch the ads is a pain in itself. It's only a 90 min show with ads on top it's not going to be much coverage at all small highlights on the top of the table teams. We will hardly feature I feel... Having said all this I will still watch it as I enjoy watching the football league show hope they prove me wrong and it turns out to actually be decent.

I will record and then fast forward through the adverts and games that I am not interested in and then watch our 30 seconds.

Decent time slot, though the amount of ads they bang in, how long will the programme actually last?

Nick - being a fan of big bother, do you think Channel 5 will spice it up with dramatic music when a goal goes in, flashbacks to "previous" games, and have geordie Marcus doing the commentary? :D

Oh boy look forward to the endless advert breaks then.

Yep, at least with the Beeb it was over an hour's worth of coverage. With C5 it will be 60 minutes once the adverts are taken out. They'll struggle to show all the goals were gonna score. :D

They should get that bloke who used to cover the Italian football on c4, he seemed to know what he was talking about.

They won't get any big brother voice over they will probably employ Michael Owen on the panel he is up there with the most boring pundit and commentator I've heard/seen

The show will be on for at least 3 hours, adverts every 5 minutes and a quick 25 second blast at half time in each game covered.

The most monotone pundits only need apply.

Ah I wasn't aware of that
Lets hope he doesn't rock up on this then
Actually come to think of it I would be surprised if Owen did jump on this as they normally get ex pros that have played in the championship etc so I think we might be safe be nice for an ex city player to jump on might get a bit more coverage on Coventry for a change.

It's hard to imagine anything worse than the current FL show on the beeb, but then I remember what ITV did to MoTD!

Still, at least we'll be rid of Clem (hopefully). Can we just have a show that focuses on the game, rather than the chit-chat, please...

As for all of this baldist stuff, I resemble those comments. ;) I trust Nick is capturing IP addresses; SISU haven't had much work for their lawyers lately, maybe I can swing a deal...
