I think thats what we will need to stay up with the bottom teams winning

thats 5 wins 5 draws and 5 defeats

I really think the only way to get close to that is to get the clown out this week - and even if it is a short term honey moon period - a quick 3 wins, would make everything look rosier

3 defeats however??

Looks like it will be time to get our maps out again to see where these places are that we didn't know had a league football club.

I knew I'd go inside Sixfields to watch Cov play sooner or later. It's looking to be sooner. Still, I'll only have to do it the one season as we're be in the conference the following season.

Don't think we'll have too much trouble getting 5 defeats, it's the wins and draws that could be a problem!

Eastleigh is just north of Southampton, a lot of Saints fans are hoping they go up so they can laugh at Pompey's local derby being Eastleigh. Their ground makes the Butts seem like Wembley Stadium.

I've already had the map out look where is close enough for an away day visit.

Yep - that is so sad. Imagine having our 'better' players lured away to the likes of Burton, Crawley and Fleetwood. If that doesn't make the custodians of our football club hang their heads in shame, nothing will. Mind you, having watched them ru(i)n our club these past couple of seasons, they have no sense of shame. Grrrrrrrrr

People need to believe.

I have believed all season. Believed it would be a long hard season. I still hoped that we would have a good season. But taking my sky blue specs off told me it wasn't looking good. And slowly the specs have been falling off our supporters. It wasn't that long ago that the majority of us still wanted to give SP more time. But only those with blind faith think we will stay up now.

We have the players to stay up. Are our players worse than those at Scunny who are now safe and maybe looking for the playoffs after looking favorites to go down after a change of manager? But we need to get rid of SP and bring in a manager that knows what he is doing and do it quickly before it is too late. After our next game.....against MK Dons....we could be 4 points from safety. 23rd place is a point away but they have a better GD. The excuses needs to stop. It is time for action.

Good luck against the Franchise. They started the rot which led to hedge funds moving football clubs 40 miles away and rugby clubs 80 miles away.

I hope CCFC fans show the franchise supporters what you think of plastic clubs. You might be shite but at least you're real.

You need to do a bit of research if that is what you think.

It all went wrong when Sky started throwing money at football. The money never got spread through football. So to get a decent share you needed to be near the top. Clubs gambled with money they didn't have in pay to players. If they failed they were in the shit. Clubs in Division one spent a fortune in wages. When they got relegated they were left in the shit. And as the wages went up in the top two divisions the clubs below this had to pay more. So the main winners have been the overpaid players at these clubs. But nearly 50% of retired players end up bankrupt.

Then your point comes into play. Money people take the gamble on either keeping a club in the top flight or getting one there. A lot of it is done on debt. Even Man U were taken over on debt. And the supporters are the ones who suffer. Higher ticket prices. Or shall we go as far as clubs like Leeds, Pompey or even our own? There are more clubs like Luton, Wimbledon or even maybe Blackpool than those that have done well out of the situation. Once a club is on it's way down these days it is harder to turn things around.

Short, sharp to the point.

I was very worried enough QUALITY was brougt in the January transfer window to enable us go get out of the relegation scrap CCFC are in.

SP has lost the know how to win games. They just dont know how to grind out a win.

Its not about trying to implement a style of football or DNA.

Its about grinding out results.

Make no mistake March/April will be cutthroat in regards to results.

CCFC are being cut adrift at the bottom and WINS are the only way out.

got the clown out at the right time. 10 points in 6 matches since - and probably another 10 from the last 9 will see us safe.
Everything looking a lot rosier now

Still think we got rid too late , as if he had gone in december , we could be sitting here in a position like barnsley or atleast in touching distance of the playoffs , and with our remaining fixtures , you wouldve backed us to make them

Still can, don't think we will but put 5 or 6 wins on the bounce and you shoot up this division.
