Do the players have faith in Pressley? (1 Viewer)

With people saying that Madine's conversation on Sky was a bit strange, Fleck being in the press saying how the manager likes him to sit very deep, Pennington saying how much he prefers playing CB and apparently Jordan Clarke telling Pressley he doesn't know what he is doing. Add to that Johnson, Miller and Tudgay and the bombed off players.

Doesn't it seem like the players don't really have much faith in the things Pressley is trying to do?

It doesn't matter whether they are Messi or Non League, surely the players should be dying for their manager whereas our players seem to have no faith?

Hmmm :thinking about: So Fleck says the manager likes him to "sit very deep"? Hope that's not on his lap!

A couple of times recently in his post match interview Pressley has basically said they've not done what they were told to do. To me that either means they don't really know what they're supposed to be doing, which it certainly looks like is happening when you watch them, or they think Pressley is so wrong they aren't really paying attention to him.

Yeah, it could be that the players feel they need to take things into their own hands sometimes? (which is what sounded like happened against Peterborough with Johnson and Nouble)

If it's the latter then I suggest they do as asked, because on the evidence of last night they are wrong.

My bro mentioned that you could hear a convo between Madine and Pressley during the game when a player went down injured and the players went for a drink, the cameras were right on them? if anyone recorded it you could check it out or i will tonight. Pressley seemed to be having a go apparently about Madine asking to play a different formation?

You could ask how many of these players actually have faith in themselves? If they did they would just go out and do the job, prove the manager wrong with performances.

these players are at Coventry for a reason, they aren't that good or at the end of a career. It is up to them to take the opportunity to start or in some cases re start their careers. What you see on the pitch over 90 minutes mainly comes from them not the bench.

Madine probably wanted a proper strike partner rather than the two playing just behind him

I disagree, some games you can see a manager make a change and it totally changes the whole game (either in a good way or bad way).

I didn't hear what they said but Pressley was gestering frantically at his iPad and Madine looked far from impressed.
