Got you in on overtime Simon? :(

I'm actually off until Jan 2 now. Was working briefly yesterday though!

There's a couple more CCFC stories written and ready for publishing. Not sure when they'll go up though.

Wasn't Car Park C handed back to the Council as part of the agreement?

If so, I could do with a new kitchen if they want to come and do that for me as well?

I can't help but think Wasps are contradicting some of the things the Council say, especially this Maton fella who seems to go out of his way to be a prick when it comes to CCFC. He was also on Twitter giving it loads about how CCFC should make a bit, but went quiet when it was pointed out it was pretty much impossible for anything to happen. Has he actually got a clue what is going on?

Is this in response to Richardson saying earlier this week that they aren't interested in development?

I asked for response to that, yes.

Could wasps have mugged them off or are the councillors trying to over justify it?

Starting to look that way isn't it. Wasps come in and say exactly what CCC want to hear.and get the Ricoh for next to nothing. I'm sure if Wasps undertaking development was part of the deal it will all be legally binding with penalties if it doesn't' happen. After all you'd have to be a complete idiot to just believe the promises of someone who was trying to buy an asset off you on the cheap.

Yeah you would have thought it would be binding in contracts, what would happen if they didn't though? Kick them out? Take back the lease? Penalty payments or something?

Would depend on the contract but I'd expect a financial penalty would be most likely.

Richardson said he's not a property developer. A lot of people (wasps fans) were concerned that he didn't care about the club at all, and simply wanted the Ricoh and surrounding lands to building housing on the spare land and sell it off, perhaps the stadium too, and leaving Wasps stranded. I'm guessing this is what Richardson was trying to address, rather than not intending to do anything with the land whatsoever.

Simon do you choose whether comments are on or off on articles or is that those above? ;)

Maybe that was what the other £1M upfront was for ?

Edit OOPS that was a response to one of Nicks.

They're usually on, but you have to actively turn them on before you publish. That's down to the news / web editors.

I suspect someone hasn't ticked the box, or due to the fact we're on a skeleton staff at the minute, didn't want the hassle of monitoring them - which is usually very time-consuming, as you probably know from running this site!!
