Dressing rooms not a drama (1 Viewer)

Sounds OK to me. Funny though ain't it. He sends out an email to fans and it's jumped on with "Waggot wrote it", "Desperate PR from SISU", but he says something positive over the dressing room and all is fine.

I never said that about that email I said it was a good thing. However it should be via the CET and CWR not an email to us fans that attend anyway.
Regarding this, I think it is what he thinks. I don't see any reason for him to lie.
So simply put it is the not the big deal some made out.

Me too, and I will never, ever forgive SISU for pratting about when they could have bought the place for peanuts. Their idiotic posturing got exactly what it deserved but unfortunately they've dragged us down with them. We are where we are though and I'm quite convinced that our only future is as part of the Wasps group.

I sincerely hope not.

that's right. For 10 years, the council have be desperate to kill of COVENTRY city Football Club.

So, those that vote for them were voting to kill off the club.

CCC are elected. There have been opportunities to vote them in the last 10 years has there not ?

If there was an opportunity to vote SISU out, I would hazard a guess at the outcome

75% of the electorate don't vote for the council so the vast majority have no confidence in them at all.

so, either there are a lot of other parties which dilute the vote to the extent that a 25% vote wins, or apathy rules ?

What you are really saying is that 75% of the electorate don't vote in the council elections at all. They get a majority of those that do vote, of course. The ones who vote against them can be said to have no confidence in them.

I would argue that the 75% who can't be arsed are quite content with what the council do, otherwise they would surely vote. They must therefore have some confidence in them. It's a bit lame to moan about council or government if you don't bother voting.

on that logic, 10k, out of 300k population, the vast majority don't care about CCFC either so why should a council ?

1 in 30 ?

for the record, at no point would I vote for the current council if it lived in cov, but someone is !!!

Its a typo its 65%.

I would say the opposite. I would say its because the electorate is aware that the lack of difference in ideology means that there is no point. The Scottish election shows present a real choice and the electorate turns up.

Councils support financially many parts of the community which have less than 10,000 and anyway that 10,000 could rise to 30,000.

Most Coventry people are clueless on what has gone on.
If they new they would agree with the CCC actions.
Not what us CCFC fans like to hear but it's the case.

As usual pure fabrication without a shred of any factual evidence.

I'll tape every conversation I've had and play it back. What evidence should I present?
Just get out your bedroom, button your flies and speak to non football people.
Go in pubs, clubs, work and talk to people. They don't know.
I apologise if you are a deaf mute.

As I said no evidence. Just typical wumming from the King of wumming.

Without a survey that shows a meaningful sample your conversation down the Bedworth Social with a bottle of Manns means nothing.

if the club have any sense our away kit next year will be yellow and black. Similarly, Wasps away kit could be sky blue. Half the seats could be Yellow and Black and the other half sky blue, with "Wasps" behind one goal, and "CCFC" behind the other.

Please tell me you're kidding. Talk about bending over for the franchise. If Wasps want to throw over half of the stadium revenue to the club maybe this would be an almost-reasonable idea, I don't think they are though.

I don't think he's kidding. Another poster thought it was a good idea. Why don't we just call ourselves wasps as well.

90% of people with no interest in CCFC actually were fully behind sisu in their bid to damage the prize council asset.

Really ?
Dare I ask for the evidence ?

No don't bother, your an idiot.

What do you want me to tape every conversation I had?

You need to get out of your bedroom mate and start to listen to what they are saying in the pubs and clubs.

Pressley is also looking forward to inspecting the new changing rooms which are being fitted out this week.

“I’m quite excited by seeing the dressing rooms,” he said; “it will be nice to get our own changing facilities because before the room was used by others and we were never really able to personalise it.

“Now we’re going to have our own dressing room that we can tailor with iconic images of the past like the Cup Final and the Jimmy Hill era and all the times of inspiration which will help to give us an upbeat mood.

“It will feel like home after a few games there and it will be solely for Coventry City, and that’s a great thing. It will feel more like our own dressing room than the one we had before, and hopefully it will have the desired impact on the players and create a positive environment.”

Going back lack to the opening thread, it might just be what we need, a change of dressing room may be the start of an upturn in our results.

If not I'm sure we can change the colour of the seats next

I was parodying Italia - making up shit is his domain not mine.

Must admit, this made me laugh. And just in time for post of the year?

Eastwood and his cronies must be pissing themselves laughing at how easily some of our fans are appeased. Let's hope we see some substance behind the new ground sooner rather than later.

In the interests of balance that some on this forum seem to like, I wonder if Joy and her cronies are pissing themselves at how easily some of our fans are appeased.

However, as you now seem to hope that Legoland gets built and there is a strong possibility that it won't be in Coventry, does that in itself pose a problem for some of the Wasps haters on this forum. I mean, could we call them hypocrites if they went to watch CCFC say in Bedworth or Kenilworth or Warwick?
