Why don't we have any pre match or half time entertainment anymore?

What's the best you have seen over the years?

Come on, they give away a Sky Blue calendar at half time. It's worth £7.99 you know.

There used to be a rotund bald fella that joined in with the dancing girls at Highfield Road, probably early 90's but could be wrong, he was having a great time.

I used to think getting some kids playing little 5 a side games would be good, but the pitch is too bad at the moment.

Good opportunity for the fans to
Go on the pitch, good laugh and prob sell more programs as you had to buy one to enter

Wasn't the eldest about 14?

One of my most uncomfortable match-day experiences ever was when I managed to drag my 55 year old dad along to a rare game, I think the Blackburn cup game a few years back, and he kept making lustful comments about the Sky Blue Belles, who were basically children. This was before the Saville/Hall/Harris etc scandals broke though, so I suppose it was "alright" to do that then...

whole experience is pretty poor.

if it wasnt for the casino, it would be woeful.

A real ale set up, live local band etc in jag hall would do fab before each home game...

invite a local band to showcase themselves by doing covers, their songs etc and feature them in the match day programme.

Invite local pubs to come along with real ales and promote themselves

a big screen showing the early kick off, perhaps some ex players doing photos / signings etc

Sky blue sam about for the kids, with a bouncy castle and face painting etc

Free to season ticket holders, a donation from other fans, which goes straight to SP towards streghtning the team

Can't beat a good Parachute display.
You can't get a good parachute display. Well, not the end part at least. Remember that bloke who missed the DZ at the last home game 1992/93 season and ended up in with the Leeds fans on the Kop? There's also that poor chap who collided with the Trinity Rd stand at VP. I think he lost a leg as a consequence.
I've always been of the opinion that entertainment should be during as opposed to pre-match. After today if they'd have been 10 mins before and at half time of international macrame basket weaving, then I'd have felt mildly entertained.
