I was shouting PASS so many times during that run. Glad he didn't take any notice (lucky he got the deflection on it though to loop it over the keeper )

He knew what he was doing . Particularly loved the faked shot that made mugs of their defenders. Whatever everyone says about luck, you do make your own luck. It fits in with what he said in his interview about "you have to go out and make it happen": a goal made of determination, strength and willpower. When was the last time a City player ran from his own half to score?!?

When I seen it, I thought back to Adebola. Think he scored two similar ones; V Forest and then the Blackburn cup game. Can't remember which came last though?

Although more recently, didn't Moussa get one of his from running from our own half? Was it V MK Dons?

Yea Moussa did it, Mifsud also against Sheffield Wednesday.

Until I saw his goal on FLS I didn't realise Nouble had made the run from the centre circle; it didn't seem that far at the time. As for Burge's error, well these things happen, but it was a little strange, not sure what he was doing. I think Allsop would have been crucified on here if he'd have done it. Still, Burge has to say as NLHWC says, he's part of the winning team.
