A quick question (1 Viewer)

Excuse my naivety, but would somebody please care to explain the answer to my question.

If Wasps have paid a reported thirty million quid for CCC and ACL 50% share, why is the Higgs 50% available for roughly three million? If CCFC purchased The Higgs 50% would that leave them of equal ownership?

Sorry to drag this up again, but just wanted clarification.

Cheers

Cus Higgs don't want it. They cant afford to keep The Ricoh going. They're a charity after all. The Council wanted their money back so they sold it for top whack. Wasps paid it cus they want to buy all shares. They've already bid for the Higgs share

SO if CCFC do acquire the 50% they will be equal owners with a 50-50 split in all money made?

I believe again wait to be shot down but wasps purchased for £20m and that's £2.77m for each share of 50% and then taking the £14.4 debt over also. The debt is around £13.5m plus 5.5 for the 2 shares at 50% and that's your £19m that's quoted.

I assume so, yes. But remember, Wasps only bought the grass and the seats. The Ricoh itself and the businesses inside it (except the hotel) remain with the Council. Im not sure if Higgs have any shares in said businesses, but im assuming if they do, those would be sold to the bidder. So if Cov do buy the Higgs share, we could make some Wonga on the Ricoh itself. But that's only if Higgs share includes the function rooms etc

Christ its easy to see why the council can pull the wool over people's eyes.

It's called recycling back into the compost heap.

We need the voice of common sense to cut through all this nonsense, can you sum all of this drama up for us RFC. Please do not use capital letters though unless they are necessary.
