Have Wasps offered more or less than Sisu did for ACL? (2 Viewers)

We have many on here who have all the factsa from the JR at their fingertips(or at least the bits about what the Judge said).

From memory wasn't it around £5million to Higgs with staggered payments, or around £2million immediate cash?

Think that that they would have taken on the YB loan and restructured it themselves, and looking at around a 125 year lease?

How does that compare to what we know so far of the Wasps 100% deal with a 250 year lease?

There is the £14.4M loan you are ignoring, as I recall that old deal was contingent on SISU renegotiating that loan down with YB, that was never done or even it seems acceptable to YB.

My view is that this deal is better deal financially, but still a poor one, though it is probably the only one that could be achieved in the circumstance.

Frankly, till this Wasps stuff broke I was bracing myself for a similar deal with SISU being concluded.. but that now never seems to have been on the table.

The 14.4 million loan was not present at the time of the sisu offer

There was a loan from YB with £14M+ outstanding on it. The council took it off YB and replaced it with the £14.4M loan at a better interest rate. Same debt, just different lender.
