Really think they should scarap fans paying more to pay at the ground on the day. There are many occasions where people have had a last minute change of plan and decided they want to attend but unfortunately psychologically knowing you would be paying more on the day would most likely put some fans off.

Let keep the price consistent and affordable no matter when you buy your ticket and only have promotion deals for say cup matches unless they are playing against the bigger teams where their is a demand..

I can understand paying a higher price for tickets on the day if we were in the Prem but doing this in league 1 is just nuts.

Just my take on it.

its a ridiculous charge. i have a feeling they will drop it soon.

Just received an e-mail from CCFC confirming £18 adults, £13 concessions. You cant get cheaper than that for this level of football.
Something very strange that 27K+ attended last week and most spent hours queuing for their ticket and they all seem to have disappeared into the aether within a week?
Confirmation of our fickle fan base perhaps?

Sheffield united have around 14000 empty seats at brammal lane
leeds have around 14k empty seats at elland road
birmingham 14k at st andrew empty

moral of the story , why do our fans think we are a special case with less supportive and loyal supporters , we were playing in a stadium of 24500 for a number of years , in that stadium we would have ...yes 14000 empty seats in league 1 , fact is , for general purposes the ricoh is too big for us , had it been 24500 big , then it wouldnt seem so bad

Our tickets for tomorrow didn't turn up in this morning's post either. Went down to Gallagher at 11 o'clock and only queue was inside the shop. Guy asking as soon as you walk in what you are there for (don't ask!) and had 3 separate queues, 1 for ST holders like me who wanted tomorrow's tickets, 1 for cash only if you don't mind where you sit and the other for anything else.

I was only in there for max 15 minutes, got paper tickets for Yeovil and Preston games. Haven't got new ST books in yet, that's why they haven't been sent out.

Got my tickets now, that's the main thing.

We don't come back from Northampton every week and charge £10 a ticket.

Again, do we want to grumble about how many people aren't going this week compared to last week, or do we want the club to figure out why so many of them aren't going and try to improve it?

It's an attitude I really don't understand. In fairness the club are making the right noises at least in part, but there's a lot of work to do - that's unless you're happy sat in a two-thirds empty stadium.

Well, at the end of the day it comes down to cost. People saying £20 plus is too expensive, which I agree. It probably is. However, saying it should just be pegged at £15 probably isn't financially viable for the Club. They need to pay their bills and yet satisfy a disenfranchised (admittedly by their own hand) fan base. Not easy.

I'm not happy sitting in a two-thirds empty stadium, but let's be honest for the majority of the last nine years we've all done just that. It was only those early seasons and big games that have had the place full.

haha, tbf he said you owe me 25, i just assumed he wasnt clued up on ccfc premium prices. turns out its me who was wrong

still pissed off though, hes trying to make out like only standard seats are right at the top, have we really sold that much?

Nah, still lots of seats reserved for ST holders who have not renewed, so gives a false impression.

The crowd will be about 10.5K in the end. It's disappointing, but entirely consistent with the gates we were getting two season's ago. Not all that surprising really.

Todays ticket sales have been brisk and the club expects a resonable walk up. One thing no one on here has accounted for is that crowds are always lower through August and September because people have spent their hard eaned on holiday. Maybe the ticket price should move with time of year?

Thing is they managed to pay their bills/rent and wages last season on 2k attendances, if it takes a short term loss in ticket revenue to build the fan trust and getting people coming back then they should do it.

I feel freezing it from the 12/13 season is a bit of a poor effort by the club. Not to mention the countless problems with actually buying and sending out tickets etc.

Many of them had to queue for 4 hours at the shop or sit twatting about on the internet for 9 hours...........by that benchmark we still have some fantastic support waiting in the wings !

very disappointing if we don't get 15k minimum tomorrow but perhaps it will show sisu they need to take another look at ticket prices.

Am i right in thinking theres nearly 2000 Diamond club members? + the rest of corporate and away, way over 10K im guessing more tickets will be sold tonight as people who get paid weekly will get there ticket today! i think think if we get around 14k that would be a really decent return!
