Labovich absolutely was saying what he was meant to say though wasn't he, he absolutely was reflecting the desires of Joy he just did a worse job of it than Fisher. Honestly if we'd have had decent people interviewing fisher in the media he would have also been humiliated by now because he was having to defend not only the indefensible but as far as I'm concerned stuff he doesn't even believe.
The were some ridiculous gafes made with the other 2 though I agree but I don't feel that was the same at all. It makes no sense to believe that everything Fisher has been saying up to now was because of joys beliefs but now she feels differently and fisher is carrying on off his own back.
Also while the text a sub was foolish beyond belief the actual base idea of involving the fans in the football club by letting them vote for things is a really good one in my opinion, but the fans should be voting for things they know about, ie things that affect them. If I ran the club, everyone with a supporter number would have access to a website to post ideas, complaints, things they feel need changing (this is in place of something like the SCG), votes would be on things like do you want goal music, when should we stop the music before the game and what music would you like, what do you want for half time entertainment, do you want a professional adult cheer leader squad at half time if it adds 10p to the ticket, the website could have design competitions for a big banner used to cover unused seats and all sorts of things to make the club feel like something you belong to, it would increase supporter satisfaction, increase attendances and increase supporter trust.

No I'm not. If the Ricoh is purchased the purchaser would also buy the associated debt. Also none of us know any of the articles associated with both.
If any buyer purchased the stadium they would buy the debt. Ultimately the council will win anyway only Higgs will lose. They are the vunerable party as their share has zero influence.

I don't think they would agree, that would put them at huge risk of SISU calling in the loan, or changing it's terms, and that would risk the Councils share of ACL.

I've never heard him make a point about whether if they bought the stadium they wouldn't own a loan between the Council and ACL.

You may well be right but all it seems to add up to is more reasons for the council not to sell the freehold. Which only leaves the leasehold. Which gives you 2 options. Buy ACL or sit it out until ACL's lease runs out and hope you aquire the next lease that's on offer. We already know that the distress ACL until they go bump so you can pick them up on the cheap option doesn't work.

It is the basic tenure of the argument why the club can never succeed just as a tenant. It also is why the Ground despite the building costs is actually worthless.
The arrangement is unique and bizarre.

Whilst it quite possibly is, if they don't own the Ricoh "They will build a new stadium", FACT and you better believe it!
I do and you lot can believe whatever you like.
Why spoil a great couple of weeks and one of the most fantastic nights in the clubs history (and definitely the Ricoh's) by re-hashing the politics when all we won't is to talk about the football and the future of the football club and not focus on recent past events?
Please tell us all, how do you know that?

I would agree that it's not worth anyone buying the ground without the lease, as ownership is worthless.
I don't see how this links to an argument that the club can't succeed as a tenant.

No idea, I'll confess that I don't pay a huge interest in other clubs, especially not their ground arrangements.
I do know though that a cheap rent with a deal whereby other revenues are shared, especially those on match days, would give the club more income and a chance of profit than if they borrowed a stack of cash to build or buy a ground.

Fisher is not stupid and he and Waggot continue the corporate gain. The only reason we are back is ACL have offered a short term rent deal which they never have before. It gives time for SISU to re-strategise.
But one thing that is not happening is a new ground
It would be the biggest loss making stadium in history as it would have no supporters.
