Priced at only £10 for adults, £5 Concessions and £1 for Under 16's this surely has to be a mammoth crowd akin to the Crewe JPT game. Tickets are on sale early W/Commencing 25th August and will go very fast. Get on it chaps and chapesses !!
Every Cov banner and flag ever made should be brought along to make a lively, noisy and colourful night that will show the football world that we're on our way back up the ladder !!
Lets hope the club push the Gills fans into the corner a la the Crewe support and have City fans on all four sides of the Ricoh !

I'm expecting a decent crowds ~20-22k for the gillingham game followed by 12k for the next home game.

I'm thinking 15-18K ,hope I'm wrong though,my cynicism/pessimism shining through.

you are way wrong

anything under 25k is a fucking disgrace

and I fully expect 25k to 30k

If there was 7k on the March to bring us home then it should be 20k easy shouldn't it?

Full house, £5&10 a ticket and a pound for kids, will be as close to a sell out as you can get i think!

18K would represent a doubling of the home support of our last season there ,that's a realistic expectation IMO ,that's all I'm trying to put across.

Loads on the Coventry telegraph comments box. They all won't go 100%

Those lot never went anyway! They stopped going when Black left, they stopped even more when Marlon King signed. Then they definitely stopped when Marlon King didn't sign a contract extension and then they were so appalled at the relegation, they stopped going. So when we moved to Northampton, that was the final straw... Never are they stepping foot inside! But now we're back so... Aha! Aha! Sisu are still here... They said all along, right from when Strachan got sacked or something that they won't go while Sisu were still here. Whether we play at the Ricoh, Sixfields or the Emirates... Oooohh well, maybe the Emirates... That place is lovely!

Friday night, and on Sky too, it will have an impact on the gate I'm sure :(

I'd normally watch it on a stream to be honest. I know that sounds lazy and not 100% committed, so shoot me lol, every penny counts these days. But think we need to make an extra effort on this occasion, send a message of support to the team, so I'll be there dragging the old fella along.

Get up there. It's our club and we are back home.

I get some fans are lost and may never come back, but others were looking for an excuse to return.

Close off the top 5 rows and fill the place, give the the something to play for

It will be very interesting to see the crowd. I have a 400 mile round trip to make and wouldn't miss the game for the world. I am literally counting down the hours. If we can't get 30,000 people who live in the city to be arsed enough to walk down the road and part with a tenner (or a fiver or a quid) it doesn't bode well for our future.

We will get a big crowd but the following week will be back to normal.

Agree about the following week. It will be interesting to see what our 'normal' is now.

Last season in Championship - 16Kish

First season in Div 3 - 10Kish

Second season in Div 3 - 2kish.

Lose to Gillingham and I could see Yeovil game being as low as 8K.

Hence the need to get everybody hooked with Sixfields season ticket prices for this year only.
10,000 season tickets would form a great core support.

IMHO a missed opportunity I'm afraid. Particularly if compounded with no payment scheme.
Unless they prefer everybody to pay on the day, but serious profits relies on a promotion push which is unlikely this year.

If people really want to go they will not need cheap pricing. The elasticity curve of demand should suggest the opposite .

They need to play good exciting football while a big crowd is there to get hem hooked.:)

If they loose as we frequently do in front of big crowds it will see it drop like a stone.......:(
